Anthropic's /design workflow lets a developer choose a visual direction before asking Claude Code to implement it. A brief produces a canvas of editable interface mockups, called artboards. The developer opens the canvas, picks and tweaks an artboard, then tells Claude which option to implement. Official release digest

The useful intermediate output is a design people can inspect and change before committing to an implementation.
