This is a personal website that rebuilds the Halo 3 multiplayer map Guardian in the browser with Three.js, starting at the game's main menu and lobby before spawning the visitor into an explorable version of the map. The author hid photos, stories, quests, mini-games, and Easter eggs from their own life across the map, using an original fan-archived Guardian asset export (115,250 faces, original UVs, 42 textures) with AI-generated shaders, lighting, physics, animation, and quest routing layered on top.
Why it made the leaderboard
A deeply personal use of AI-assisted 3D development (shaders, physics, quest systems) turning a nostalgic game map into an interactive personal history instead of a template portfolio site.
