About
neural-band-poc is a proof-of-concept macOS application that connects directly to a Meta neural band over Bluetooth without requiring the paired Meta glasses, exposing raw sEMG channel data, 3D hand gesture tracking, and pinch-and-roll dial input through a local dashboard. It demonstrates that the wristband's sensing hardware can be used independently of the glasses it normally ships with.
Why it made the leaderboard
Shows how to read live sEMG gesture data from Meta's neural band without pairing it to the Display glasses, opening the wristband up as a standalone input device for experimentation.
