About
Knotchy is a macOS app that opens links you don't trust inside a disposable Linux virtual machine created via Apple Container, showing the page in a small panel under the MacBook's notch. The VM can reach the internet but not the host Mac or local network, and it's deleted after each session along with anything the page did inside it.
Why it made the leaderboard
Gives a lightweight way to open untrusted links (phishing texts, unknown invoices) in a fully isolated, disposable VM instead of your real browser, with no persistent risk to your Mac or network.
