About
OpenMuse is an open-source personal assistant that users deploy for themselves: it takes work, continues the same conversation for follow-ups, and returns results there. Longer jobs get their own 'topic' with editable notes and, when needed, a cloud computer that keeps working after the browser is closed, running on a TanStack Start web app with two agents built on OpenComputer Serverless Agents.
Why it made the leaderboard
It gives developers a self-hosted personal assistant with persistent topics, editable notes, and on-demand cloud compute per task, an open alternative to closed hosted agent products.
