WeatherNext 2 is Google DeepMind and Google Research's global, medium-range atmospheric and cyclone forecasting model; this repository holds its code along with the prior-generation GraphCast and GenCast models. Rather than running the model yourself, you can consume daily forecast feeds through Google Cloud (Earth Engine, BigQuery, Vertex AI), WeatherLab including cyclone tracks, and OpenMeteo's API. The repo links the technical report and papers behind the cyclone forecasting and probabilistic forecasting work.
