Brutus is a small native macOS command-line tool that samples resource usage for about three seconds and lists the top three individual processes by memory, CPU, and swap-in rate. You pick one process to close instead of killing a whole parent such as an agent harness, so other running jobs are less likely to be interrupted. A dry-run mode previews every menu action without sending signals.
