bitcoin-rs is an independent Bitcoin full-node implementation written in Rust, built with heavy use of AI coding assistance and checked against libbitcoinkernel as a compatibility oracle. It exposes a typed Rust API so developers can embed node logic directly inside Rust applications instead of shelling out to Bitcoin Core.

Why it made the leaderboard

It shows a verification-first pattern for AI-generated systems code: using an existing reference implementation as a compatibility oracle so aggressive AI-assisted development can be checked rather than trusted blindly.
