Copperhead is an open-source AI agent that designs, documents, and validates printed circuit boards from a text prompt. It runs the work through eight gated stages (spec, architecture, parts, schematic, layout, outputs, firmware, dev plan), each stage checked by KiCad's ERC/DRC before it commits, and works on the user's own KiCad files and git repo using their own Claude or GPT-5 key.
