A self-hosted media player: run the server on macOS, Windows, Linux or Docker, point it at folders, NAS shares, cloud drives or an existing Plex/Jellyfin library, and filenames become a browsable catalog with posters, ratings and episodes. Clients on TV, phone and browser share one library and resume position, with a ten-foot interface, scrubber previews, skip-intro and auto next-episode. It plays MKV, HEVC, multiple audio tracks and embedded or sidecar subtitles, transcoding server-side when a device cannot decode, and a relay reaches your server from outside the house without router configuration. Each account keeps its own sources, settings and watch state.
