About
Peren is an Apache-2.0 runtime for running Cloudflare-style Workers and Durable Objects on infrastructure you control. It executes JavaScript and WebAssembly in V8 isolates and gives each stateful object its own SQLite database. Ownership is fenced by epochs and signed leases, and state is recovered from snapshots and write-ahead-log records stored in an S3-compatible bucket, so another node can resume an object after a node fails.
