About
Spot is a free alpha desktop assistant for Mac and Windows. You press a hotkey, type what you want, and it carries out the task step by step in a visible panel, such as checking battery, finding a file, adding a calendar event or summarizing GitHub commits. It uses an AI account you already have (Claude Code, Codex or an OpenRouter key) and a separate open-source CLI to act on the computer.
Why it made the leaderboard
A press-a-key agent that drives your computer through the accessibility tree, using your existing coding-agent login.
