About

Back Me Up lets a user enter a claim, such as "drinking wine is good for the heart," and runs a semantic search across PMC, bioRxiv, medRxiv, and arXiv to surface published papers and quotes that support or contradict it, then returns a verdict. Its creator built it as an evening project with no accuracy evaluations, so results should be treated as unverified rather than authoritative.

Why it made the leaderboard

Lets anyone type a claim like 'wine is good for the heart' and get back real papers with supporting or contradicting quotes pulled via semantic search across major preprint and biomedical archives.
