Flow shows ambient animated terminal scenes, such as a fire, surf or train, that intensify with the work a coding agent is doing, so activity or idleness is visible at a glance. It runs above the prompt in Claude Code, opencode and pi. Scenes use block and braille characters, and users can add their own.
