Context

Open Index gives an a searchable set of explicitly modeled records and relationships. A team defines concepts such as services or customers, specifies their fields and links individual records to related ones. The project README describes tools through which agents can retrieve those records and submit schema-checked updates.

This makes domain structure available directly: an agent can retrieve a service and its linked runbook instead of having to infer that relationship from prose. Schema checks constrain the shape of updates, while factual accuracy still depends on the records supplied. Read and write access are enabled by default; a read-only mode is available when an agent should only retrieve information.
