ChKit is open-source tooling from ObsessionDB for managing ClickHouse schemas, migrations and backfills. You define tables, materialized views and column types in TypeScript, generate DDL migrations from that schema, check for drift in CI, and reuse the types when ingesting data. For breaking schema changes it generates a backfill sequence into an intermediate table, and existing schemas can be pulled down to start from.
