WSL Tray
github.com/ideaconnect/wsl-trayAbout
WSL Tray is a lightweight Windows system tray utility, written in Rust, that shows whether the WSL2 virtual machine is running and displays its CPU and memory usage via a color-coded icon. It reads process data through NtQuerySystemInformation rather than per-process handles, since the underlying vmmemWSL process runs as SYSTEM and would otherwise deny access to a normal user, and it offers a one-click, confirmation-gated shutdown of the WSL2 VM as an alternative to running wsl --shutdown manually.
