iceoryx2 is a decentralized, broker-free communication library for building low-latency, data-intensive systems, with bindings for Rust, C++, Python, C# and C across Linux, macOS, Windows, FreeBSD and QNX. Version 0.10.0 adds native FlatBuffers integration with an allocator that lets already-loaned samples grow, enabling zero-copy transfer of unbounded payloads that previously needed a fixed size limit, plus a more robust event-notification pattern that no longer drops messages when its buffer fills.
Why it made the leaderboard
Removes a longstanding size-bound limitation in a widely used zero-copy IPC library, letting systems send dynamically sized data without giving up shared-memory performance.
