XConnect is a cross-platform SSH, RDP, Telnet and SFTP client for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS that includes a built-in AI agent. The agent reads live terminal output and executes commands directly in the session, pausing to ask for confirmation before destructive or irreversible actions. It also supports unlimited jump hosts, background SSH tunnels that persist after a terminal closes, and end-to-end encrypted sync across devices.
Why it made the leaderboard
Replaces several separate remote-access tools with one client and adds an agent that operates directly inside your terminal session rather than a bolted-on chatbot.
