Phoenix.new – The Remote AI Runtime for Phoenix

Source
fly.io
Date

Context

Phoenix.new gives a coding feedback from the application it is building. In Fly.io's launch account, the browser-based development service provides a remote virtual machine where the agent can install dependencies, run an application and inspect its logs. It is tailored to Phoenix, a framework for interactive web applications.

The agent also drives a browser to interact with the interface and examine page content and JavaScript state. An error caused by using the application can therefore feed into another edit, while the user watches a live preview. The supported capability is this edit-run-inspect cycle; the launch anecdotes do not quantify how reliably it completes arbitrary projects.
