session-trail is a Claude Code plugin that records a project's actual development history and renders it as an interactive left-to-right timeline. Each Claude Code session becomes its own lane, with significant decisions, actions, and merges shown as nodes, where branch and merge points reflect judgment calls the LLM records while it works rather than git operations.

Why it made the leaderboard

Gives a visual audit trail of what an AI coding agent actually decided and did across sessions, useful for reviewing or debugging long agentic work.
