Context

Tencent Cloud's Development Platform, ADP 4.0, is a service businesses use to build AI agents, and the new features Tencent lists for its global launch at WAIC 2026 are integrations and localization. According to Tencent's announcement, the platform now connects to messaging platforms such as LINE and Telegram and to SaaS tools including Google Workspace, schedules tasks in a custom time zone, adapts language automatically, and offers a range of foundation models with localized support.

Tencent says ADP is already deployed in more than 30 industries, for uses from customer service and knowledge management to media production, and it paired the launch with an ecosystem initiative for partners. Simon Wu, a Tencent Cloud vice president, framed the work as partners building industry-specific solutions on open APIs, and said identifying the right use cases will be critical. The release names no customers, prices or results from those deployments. It establishes that the platform is offered globally with these connections, not how well agents built on it perform.
