Context Diet is a Claude Code mod that rewrites tool results before they enter the conversation. It turns test, build and lint output into digests of failures and summaries, simplifies JSON, diffs and search results, and shows only changes on repeated commands, saving the full output to a file. This slows context growth, delaying compaction. The author reports equal accuracy with fewer tool calls on 7 Q&A tasks and an 18-run bug-fixing test.
