About
A daily trivia game with music and photo rounds. The new game starts at 6 a.m. New York time, and faster correct answers score more points.
At a glance
Whami is a daily trivia game built around ten timed questions, with music clips and a photo round alongside text questions. Consider it if you like a shared daily challenge where quick recall affects the score. Choose a nickname you are comfortable showing publicly: completed results feed a weekly leaderboard.
Good fit
A small daily ritual with friends who want to compare the same question set. Correct answers earn more when given quickly, so the game rewards recall under time pressure rather than leisurely research. The media rounds add recognition of songs and images to the usual trivia mix.
Consider something else when
You want unlimited quizzes, an untimed study tool or results kept entirely on your device. The standard format allows ten seconds per question and one daily set. In the web code, reloading during an unanswered question charges it as a timeout when the run resumes; leaving is not a way to restart that clock.
Start here
Open the browser version, choose a non-identifying nickname and select Let's Play to reach the home screen. The documented next control is PLAY for the daily set. Be ready to listen for the music questions before starting. New sets arrive at 6am Eastern time, including daylight-saving changes. The entry screen was inspected without entering a name or starting a scored run.
Cost and requirements
The US App Store lists the iPhone app as free and requiring iOS 17 or later; the browser version avoids installation. Internet access supplies the daily questions and media. A random backend account identifier supports play without an email/password signup. The privacy policy says the nickname and weekly score are visible to other players, and results are stored on the device and a US-hosted backend.
Limits to know
No quiz was played, audio judged or score submitted. The web source sends completed scores and individual answer records to the backend and also offers optional account linking; completed games are associated with a backend identifier. The policy describes Delete Account & Data, but deletion and retention were not tested.

Why it made the leaderboard
The music and gradually revealed photos give the daily quiz different ways to recognize an answer.
