Pawl is a plugin for Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Antigravity that adds deterministic checks which run as code instead of prompt instructions. Each check watches for one recurring agent mistake and refuses it, cleans it up, or approves provably read-only commands without a prompt. A report command tallies what was blocked. It uses only the Python standard library and makes no model calls.
