About

A Python service that records a TP-Link Tapo camera (tested on the Tapo C200) only around motion and uploads the footage as private videos to the user's own YouTube channel, with one playlist per day. It pulls the RTSP stream with ffmpeg, reads ONVIF motion events, and deletes local files after upload, so it can run on a Raspberry Pi, a VPS or Docker without a cloud subscription.
