AudioSort

AudioSort is a web app that performs granular resynthesis on audio files: it slices an audio buffer into chunks based on a chosen window size, reduces each chunk to a single comparison value, sorts the chunks by that value, and reassembles them into a new file. It was inspired by concatenative synthesis tools like CataRT and produces distinctive granular textures when applied to full songs.
