About
SocatUI is a task-manager-style terminal UI, built in Rust with ratatui, for running and monitoring multiple socat relays at once. Each tunnel runs as its own socat --statistics process, and the interface shows status, PID, connection count, throughput in each direction, and uptime, refreshed every second.
Why it made the leaderboard
Turns ad hoc socat tunnel management into a single dashboard, useful for engineers juggling multiple port-forwards or relays during debugging or infrastructure work.
