photoshop-mcp is an MCP server that lets Claude, Cursor, Codex, and other MCP clients control Photoshop running on a Mac through AppleScript, with no Photoshop plugin. It covers opening files, layers, adjustment layers, selections, masks, text, smart objects, and export. Each edit is one undo step that rolls back if it fails, and the agent gets a safety checkpoint before its first edit, so mistakes on real documents are easier to reverse.
