Apiweiser is a CLI tool that automates dependency upgrades by having an AI agent interpret each dependency's changelog and generate a deterministic codemod, which a local coding agent applies to the repository. Codemods are cached in a local registry so they can be reused across other repos, and Apiweiser can open a pull request on the remote git server with the resulting changes, aiming to reduce the recurring cost of keeping dependencies current against security patches and API deprecations.
