Wanim runs almost unmodified manim Python in the browser by rewriting the manim library in JavaScript and translating the Python source with a patched RapydScript. The author reports a size of about 1 MB, roughly one twentieth of Pyodide-based approaches. Scenes can be embedded as a custom element or an iframe and made interactive with sliders, switches and numeric inputs.
Why it made the leaderboard
It lets developers embed interactive Manim-style math animations in web pages without the multi-megabyte Pyodide runtime, running original Python Manim syntax directly as JS.
