About
A custom Minesweeper game where the playing field is shaped like the Strait of Hormuz instead of a traditional rectangular grid. It follows standard Minesweeper rules but with a unique geographic twist on the classic puzzle game.
What it can do
Display Minesweeper game board shaped like Strait of Hormuz

Reveal cells and show mine counts
User clicks on game cells → Numbers indicating adjacent mines or empty cells
Flag suspected mine locations
User right-clicks on cells → Visual flag markers on selected cells
Detect winning condition
All non-mine cells revealed → Victory notification and game completion
Detect losing condition
User clicks on mine cell → Game over notification and mine locations revealed
Start new game
New game command → Fresh Strait of Hormuz shaped grid with randomly placed mines
Why it made the leaderboard
Minesweeper played on a board shaped like the Strait of Hormuz — standard rules, but the irregular geographic grid changes how you reason about adjacency.
