Introducing context-aware vulnerability discovery and remediation with Cloudflare Managed Defense and OpenAI Daybreak models

Cloudflare is connecting vulnerability findings to evidence about where affected code runs and what traffic reaches it. Its invitation-only service uses OpenAI models to investigate authorized code, then combines findings with active routes, suspicious requests and existing firewall protections. That helps distinguish an exposed weakness from a finding with less immediate production relevance. Cloudflare describes the process here.

Traffic alone does not establish a vulnerability: the finding must also have supporting evidence in the code. The service proposes checked patches and, where justified, narrowly scoped firewall rules that can reduce exposure while engineers review a fix. Deployment depends on customer authorization.
