Browserbase's Playwright guide explains how locators connect finding a page element with waiting until it can be used. A script can identify a button by its role and name, then request a click. Playwright normally waits until the match is unique, visible, stable, enabled and able to receive the click. If those conditions do not pass before the timeout, the action fails. This reduces the need to write separate readiness checks around each interaction. The behavior is described in the guide and confirmed by Playwright's documentation.
