A cloud dashboard can display only your machines while its underlying access credentials still expose other customers' information. In its GPU-cloud security investigation, SemiAnalysis reports finding exactly that mismatch: a monitoring dashboard appeared separated by customer, but its credentials could retrieve logs and metrics across the provider's customers.
The failure was in how access was enforced beneath the screen. Restricting what the interface displayed did not restrict what the monitoring service would return. For organizations renting AI computing infrastructure, the example shows why customer isolation must hold at the underlying service, even when the dashboard looks correctly configured.
