A directory of 164 Asian AI companies, ranked by disclosed scale

The AsiaAI Tech Index is a directory of companies in the AI supply chain across Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan. Its ranking measures disclosed financial scale and is weighted toward revenue, which the page says rewards incumbency. A large diversified business can therefore outrank a smaller supplier whose product is difficult to replace.

Some profiled companies receive no rank because they publish no usable financial figures: the page cites privately held companies, state-backed ones with limited disclosure, and subsidiaries whose numbers are folded into a parent's results. The directory is consequently useful for locating companies within the supply chain and comparing disclosed business scale. Its order should not be read as a ranking of model quality or technical importance.
