Context
Version 0.3.307 of Anthropic's TypeScript Claude SDK, whose releases track Claude Code's, makes two changes for host applications, according to the release notes. When a scheduled wakeup or task starts, the started frame of its command_lifecycle messages now carries a wakeup_source field, and a wakeup also carries scheduled_for. The notes say the purpose is to let a host tell which one fired. The change is listed under a capability named lifecycle_wakeup_source_v1.
The second change is in the browser version of the SDK. Its query() call takes a new supportedDialogKinds option, which is sent when the session initializes. If a host passes a non-empty list, it must also provide an onUserDialog handler. The notes do not say which dialog kinds exist.
The release also brings the SDK to parity with Claude Code v2.1.307. One of that release's fixes applies directly to SDK hosts: model switches through the SDK's setModel() were refused when the API took more than 5 seconds to confirm the model, and Claude Code now waits up to 15 seconds.
