Product managers writing on the Uber Engineering blog describe using AI-generated interactive prototypes to uncover disagreements before committing to a design. In one reported example, adapting a prototype to a merchant's own catalog helped the merchant give specific feedback and helped colleagues agree on the direction.

The useful change is the object people discuss: they can interact with a proposed workflow instead of imagining it from a document. Uber still uses written product requirements to record the problem, constraints and reasons behind decisions. Its account supports combining early prototypes with explicit decision records, rather than treating a convincing demo as a finished specification.
