Fog 2.0: I removed the AI auto-organizing I built my first app around

Fog 2.0 gives users control over where their notes belong after its developer found automatic organization made notes harder to find. In the developer's account, the original app generated names and tags, then chose folders automatically. Changing names and locations undermined the developer's own ability to return to saved material.

The revised notes app lets users choose which notes to group, while AI proposes titles and folder summaries that they can change. The design keeps assistance with naming and summarizing while returning filing decisions to the person who will need to retrieve the notes.
