Context
Recraft's June 19 API update reduced both listed generation prices and reported waiting times. The announcement lowered v4.1 and v4.1 Utility from $0.04 to $0.035, and their Pro counterparts from $0.25 to $0.21. Those are price reductions of 12.5% and 16%, respectively.
The company also reported Standard generation time falling from 12 to six seconds and Pro from 30 to ten seconds. These changes address two separate costs of repeated image generation: the listed price and the time spent waiting for results.
