Workflows gives an AI-assisted business process somewhere to retain its progress while waiting for a person or recovering from failure. Mistral AI's public-preview announcement describes Python workflows that record their state, pause for approval, and resume from where they stopped. Studio records branches, retries, and state changes for later inspection. The deployment is split: Mistral hosts orchestration services, while customers run the workers that execute business logic in their own environments. This makes a long-running process inspectable and resumable across interruptions.
