Perplexity Computer Adds Video Generation With MiniMax H3 and Seedance 2.5

Perplexity Computer can now produce video itself. According to the company's announcement, it uses two outside video models, MiniMax's H3 and ByteDance's Seedance 2.5. Users can ask for a campaign clip, a product demo or a social asset, and the finished video appears in the same thread as the copy and other creative work from that request.

The feature is available now for Pro and Max subscribers. The post does not say whether Computer chooses between the two models or lets the user pick, and it gives no clip length, resolution or usage limits.
