Meta Muse Spark 1.1 Hands-On Review

A plausible-looking 3D object can still miss its physical purpose. In this review, Meta's Muse Spark 1.1 was asked to design a printable V8-engine model that would house a small electric motor for a remote-control car.

The reviewer praised details such as bolts and an oil cap, but reported that the motor cavity was too shallow and obstructed by the base. Other geometry complicated printing. The example makes the acceptance test concrete: visual detail, motor fit and printability are separate requirements. According to the reviewer's inspection, the attractive model did not satisfy the latter two well enough for its intended use.
