Personas And Connectors

Droid, Factory's coding agent, has Connectors that give the assistant managed access to supported workplace apps, while Personas guide people toward connections relevant to their role. A user selects an app and signs in; Droid can then find its tools when a task needs them. The announcement describes this as a way to bring information from existing work systems into an assignment.

Recommendations and authorization remain separate. Enterprise administrators can recommend connectors for a role, but each user still connects an account. Administrators can also disable a connector, blocking calls even from ongoing sessions. Whether an individual action needs confirmation depends on the session's configured autonomy level.
