Major model lab

An organization that trains and releases important foundation-model families.
Major model labs include OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google DeepMind (Gemini), Meta (Llama), xAI (Grok), Mistral, DeepSeek, Alibaba (Qwen), Moonshot AI (Kimi), and Zhipu AI (GLM). The useful map is global and changes quickly: distinguish the organization that trains a model from the company or router that serves it.
