Limite 1B - Violetto was released on September 21, 2026 with Apache-2.0 weights on Hugging Face under paradigma-inc. It is not yet indexed in this Atlas snapshot.

Infrastructure for automated science

Paradigma says it is building the infrastructure for autonomous research. Its product, Flywheel, records hypotheses, code, experiments, and results as a traceable graph so researchers and AI agents can work from shared knowledge. The Rome-based company is early-stage. [1][4]

Limite 1B - Violetto

Limite is a one-billion-parameter dense transformer trained from scratch on under 300 billion curated tokens, with synthetic data, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning. The company reports 74.25 percent on BeyondAIME and claims results comparable to much larger models at far lower compute. These are the developer's own measurements; the authors also report weak instruction following and recommend single-turn use. [2][3]

People and backing

01net reports that Francesco Pappone, Giulio Starace, and Emanuele Rodolà founded the company. Starace previously worked on frontier evaluations at OpenAI, and Rodolà is a computer-science professor at Sapienza University of Rome. The same report names Paradigma among ten teams in SPRIND's Next Frontier AI Challenge and a pre-seed round led by Emergence Capital. [4]
