ShinMegamiBoson is an open-source developer who built OpenPlanter, a recursive-language-model investigation agent with a terminal and Tauri desktop UI that processes corporate registries, campaign finance records, lobbying disclosures, and government contracts to surface non-obvious connections for researchers and journalists. The tool gives an LLM agent file I/O, shell execution, web search, and the ability to delegate to child agents, rendering findings as an interactive knowledge graph while still requiring human review. OpenPlanter has drawn over 2,000 GitHub stars and several hundred forks.
