Aaron Elijah Mars builds autonomous-agent software and infrastructure. He founded Aeon, a framework for scheduled agent work, and MiroShark, a system for running large-scale simulations with language-model agents.[1][2]

Recurring work as a repository
Aeon represents an agent instance as a GitHub repository with scheduled workflows, configuration, memory files, and Markdown skills. A dashboard or command line selects the model harness, notification channel, and tasks. The same skill can run through different coding-agent CLIs behind a shared execution contract. This makes recurring research, briefings, code work, or security scans explicit, inspectable tasks instead of relying on an ongoing chat to remember when to act.[3]
A framework around the model
Aeon’s documentation describes a feedback loop that scores runs, detects broken skills, and dispatches repairs. It also distinguishes read-only skills, repository permissions, and optional run authorization. Those are framework controls around a model’s work; the software does not establish that every task can safely run unattended. Mars’s contribution is assembling scheduling, persistent state, harness adapters, and reusable tasks into an open framework.[3]
Simulating a social scenario
MiroShark builds a simulated world from supplied material and runs multiple language-model personas through it. Mars’s site describes personas grounded in a Neo4j knowledge graph, optional web tools, and parallel social-feed, forum, and prediction-market views. A director can inject an event or branch a timeline. The output is a scenario exploration produced by agents, rather than evidence that real people will behave the same way.[1][4]
Portable agent identity
Mars also created SOUL.md, a Markdown-based format for describing an agent’s personality and voice. His site describes extracting these instructions from a person’s writing so that different models can load the resulting files without fine-tuning. The same site lists Hyperstitions, a prediction-market project, as previous work.[1]
