Contributions

Owning the application server

SelfStack packages a Go control plane and React dashboard for running applications on infrastructure the user owns. Its deployment workflow can inspect a project, build and launch it with Docker, and expose it privately through Tailscale. It supports an existing server or Hetzner provisioning. The README labels the project pre-launch and identifies unfinished features, including automated backups, so its implementation is best understood as a developing personal-app platform.[2]

Turning design references into a procedure

design-elevate organizes existing design skills and reference material into a repeatable review process. It begins with visual directions, turns the chosen direction into a DESIGN.md contract, and applies typography, layout, color, motion, and polish passes. The repository explicitly describes the work as curation and credits the people whose skills it coordinates. Its contribution is the ordering and enforcement of those decisions around a particular product.[3]

Deploying and operating a small app

The VPS setup skill documents an application stack built around Next.js, SQLite, Caddy, systemd, and private SSH access through Tailscale. It offers both local development followed by deployment and development directly on a persistent server. The scripts are templates to review and configure. The aim is a comprehensible hosting arrangement for a small application, with domain, payment, and backup instructions alongside the deployment procedure.[4]

Seeing agent usage away from the machine

codexbar-exporter wraps the CodexBar command-line interface and exposes its usage data as Prometheus metrics, raw JSON, or outbound snapshots to a relay. It uses sessions and logs already available to CodexBar rather than requesting model-provider API keys. That makes usage visible from a dashboard or phone while an agent continues working on an always-on machine.[5]

    SelfStackgithub.com

A personal application server that builds, runs, and privately exposes self-hosted applications.

Read the shipped and unfinished feature lists before trying a disposable application. Running a deployment requires Docker and a server or local environment you control; private remote access uses Tailscale.

  • A Go exporter that makes CodexBar usage and computed costs accessible to metrics systems or a relay.

  • Sets up persistent agent sessions on a remote box that survive SSH drops and reattach anywhere.
