Career
In his first-person launch account, Forman describes teaching himself to code through sneaker bots, later leading engineering at a trading-card market platform and researching political botnets at Berkeley. His YC founder record says he left Berkeley Engineering to concentrate on Parse. The company joined YC’s Fall 2025 batch, with Forman identified as its active founder and CEO.[3][2]
Contributions
Generate an interface to the underlying requests
Parse examines the network requests behind a website’s actions and builds deterministic endpoints that reproduce them. The launch example separates fetching the questions on an application form from submitting the answers, allowing the generated interface to handle a multi-turn interaction. Dynamic session values require handling alongside the request structure. The design moves repeat execution away from a full browser while retaining the state needed for the workflow.[3]
Make a generated endpoint usable by software or an agent
The documentation offers an API and MCP interface for creating and using website APIs. An authenticated client describes the desired interaction, then calls the resulting interface with its required parameters. This makes the output useful in ordinary software pipelines as well as agent workflows. The target site’s behavior, authenticated state and the generated endpoint’s contract remain relevant when testing an integration.[4]

Start with the API creation and calling examples, using a simple public page whose expected result you can check. HTTP and JSON familiarity help; service access requires credentials, and authenticated website workflows also need appropriate session setup.
